Household packs tell consumers which bin they belong in.
Spain’s packaging decree asks household packaging to show the fraction or container it should go in; for packs of several materials that separate easily, each part’s bin, otherwise the bin of the main material by weight. Claims such as “respetuoso con el medio ambiente” (“environmentally friendly”) are banned on packaging.
